My problem is December. I have an annual service and the air bubbles have been removed from the system. The HVAC boy told me that there was no pressure in the unit, so he turned on the water dispenser and set the pressure to 20 psi. He also told me that although the device looks new, it may need to be replaced because the top does not fit or does not fit. The technician told me that it should not be more than 30 psi.

I've been seeing pressure for the last few months and most of the time the device is about 20 psi, usually a little higher. When walking and charging, it goes back and forth about 30. The device is now around 30 psi when not in use and around 40 psi when my heater is on. The gauge goes up to 70, so I know I'm not in a dangerous area right now, but how can I reduce the pressure? I remember the HVAC boy turning the top of the water dispenser to adjust the flow, but I'm not sure if I should push and rotate clockwise or not.

I found the shaft, but there was no slot in it that would allow me to use the screwdriver. I played with it to see if it would fit in the file, but I found nothing. I kept pressing c and turning clockwise. The current pressure is to put it on 23 so that it can work, but I don't feel like I'm stuck on anything so I don't know if it exploded or if the system is OK then this is a pressure drop.

To adjust the pressure, check the water supply valve. There may be a stick sticking out from above. Use a flat screwdriver and the stem (clockwise) on the valve to increase the pressure and remove the stem (counterclockwise) to reduce the pressure.

Water supply valves often malfunction. Water particles accumulate in the dragmas and cause the water to move, which increases the pressure. They are usually set at 12 psi in the factory. And it will do me good.

If your pressure goes up to 40 psi, there are a few things to consider. Check your expansion tank. If you have an old type of expansion vessel with a goggle, make sure it is filled with water. Each expansion tank also increases its pressure. When your pressure reaches 30 psi, your pressure relief valve in the boiler should burst. Do you see water in the R near the kettle? The pressure relief valve has a label that indicates the pressure when opening it. Most domestic boilers produce 30 psi.

If you want to reduce the distance between the expansion vessel and the feed water valve, do the following ... Turn off the water supply through the feed water valve. Drain some water from the boiler until the pressure reaches 1215 psi. Leave the valve closed and let the boiler run normally for a few days. If the pressure remains constant, you have a faulty water supply valve. If the pressure rises above 30, you have a problem with the expansion vessel. Replacing the feedwater valve is relatively easy if you have a mechanical tendency ... and don't forget to put the water back in the feedwater valve !!!!!
