What effect do color indicators have on plant growth? 3
This is a science fair project for my son. How did you get this information? Does anyone know the result of this question? You only have one and a half weeks for this project, is that enough time? Would you like to present this information on your presentation board?

It is long enough to measure plant growth.
Color signals are thought to change the color of light received by plants. Plants use red and purple / blue light mainly for light synthesis. They do not use green light because it reflects green light. Experience has shown that plants grow better with red or purple / blue light than with green light.
You should use plants that grow very fast. Plants grow faster than normal plants. Maybe dip some nuts to promote and see how hard they will grow.
The teacher may have given your child a list of things that might be on the presentation board. This is the place itself. If there is no list, be sure to include:
A. The people involved in this project ... straightforward and not as ridiculous as science.
B. Hyhesis: Plants are green, so plants should use light colors in addition to green.
Vs. experimental method: You can do this with a chart labeled or by marking the PTO. Control group (transparent cover plants), experimental group (red cover plants, blue cover plants, green cover plants) are included and the experiment is clearly explained.
D. Results: A table summarizing the groups and initiatives
ME ysis: Graph the results and write a statement about what SWS is.
F. Conclusion: A statement whether the results support, do not support, or do not support the assumption. Remember that inconclusive results in science are not bad. Whatever happened happened and needs to be reported carefully.

You have to work with plants that grow really fast. Or a radish seed that grows in 24 days and blooms in 30 days, or a Wisconsin fast plant that grows like a turnip in half the time. Be aware that plant seeds have food reserves that you can use and the difference in growth rate will not affect young plants. So it may be best to bend the plants in response to the filtered red, green or blue light and use the light to one side. Ptotropism or inclination towards light.
