Half Circle Driveway
Dimensions of the semicircular corridor? ۔
How big is the semicircular driveway? What is the easiest bend for vehicles? I can't find this information anywhere. Thank you very much!
The turning radius should be large enough and easy for most cars. The Cadillac CTS turns 35.5 feet. Therefore, consider 12 meters as the shortest distance between the center of the circle and the outer edge of the driveway. Since the vehicle is not more than 6 feet wide, your driveway cannot be more than 3 feet wide, so the inside diameter cannot be less than 9 feet. So you have two radios. The outer radius is 40 feet and the inner radius is 30 feet. The main reference point of both is the point.
You definitely don't want the car to need to use the vehicle's steering ability (steering lock). In other words, if the caddy's turn is 35.5 feet, you don't want the corridor to be so narrow (35.5 feet radius or less) that the caddy has to lie on the ground or lie down. Hall
I don't think the turn of a car or a light truck is more than 12 meters. But look at the small 3/4 and 1 ton pickups.

Geishadol, consult the manual for your car list. This will tell you what the car's touring radius is. There is no code that I know of as a semicircle. The width of the full size corridor is 12 widths. If you can't find the turning radio in your car's manual, go to the parking lot with your friend and the colored paint and drive slowly in the narrow lanes as your friend gets off the rear tires and scores. A few inches off the tire, but every 2 feet you move, try not to spray the tire and move slowly so that your friend can put his hand under the tire while walking. Then take a measuring tape and measure the approximate distance from the circle. If you can, say maybe 28 feet. So this is the turning circle of your car and it is a semicircle if you need to build a new semicircular access road if there is enough space for it in your property. This question gives you some ideas on how to make a semicircular interior.

The turning radius should be large enough and easy for most cars. The Cadillac CTS has a turning radius of 35.5 feet. Therefore, consider 12 meters as the minimum distance between the center of the circle and the outer edge of the driveway. Since the car is 6 feet wide, the driveway is only 3 meters wide, so the inner diameter cannot be less than 9 meters. So you have two radios. The outer radius is 40 feet and the inner radius is 30 feet. Both have the same central reference point.
You do not want to be frustrated if you cannot get the right pitch so invest in a good capo. In other words, if Caddy's turning radius is 35.5 feet, you don't want the corridor to be so narrow (35.5 feet radius or less) that Caddy has to roll or lie on the ground. Hall

Geishadoll, consult manually for your car list. This will show the touring radius of the vehicle. There is no code I know of as a semi-circular path. The width of the full size hallway is 12 widths. If you don't see the turning radius in your car manual, drive in the parking lot with your friend, spray some paint, and drive slowly in narrow circles as your friend leaves. Mark the ground a few inches from the tire, but every 2 feet you move, try not to spray the tire and move so slowly that your friend does not put his hand under the tire while walking. Then take a measuring tape and measure the approximate distance from the circle. If you can, walk 28 feet. So this is the turning circle of your car and this is the semicircle that you need to create a new semicircle for cars, if there is enough space on your property to do so. This question gives you some ideas on how to make a semicircular entrance.
The minimum inner radius for a circular unit should be 30 feet and the width of the track 20 feet. So, for a car, the outside diameter is 30 + 20 = 50 feet. If you want a carriageway other than a parking lane, you need a diameter of 30 + 20 + 20 = 70 feet
You can find instructions by looking at consumer reports or other automotive magazines. They usually provide the turning radius of the car they are reporting. Check some to get the average.

Call your local building code and it will give you what you need. You will need a local code to install it.
