Joining The Army With A Master's Degree
Domain and desire to join the army. 3
Everyone who has just graduated with a master's degree was outstanding in the rankings and I was very different. :( Since the job market is still there, I am thinking of joining the army. I think if you have a degree, your rank will go up. I just want to know what your rank is. Yes, as an officer?
Getting a degree in the officer corps is not a trivial matter. In fact, it was a prerequisite for moving through the rankings. While it's great that it's ahead of the game (most officers work on their DMs when they do), it doesn't offer any additional options on startups. However, the committee that approves your OTS application will positively consider the fact that you have a bachelor's degree, so you may have an advantage over other applicants in the program.
The only people who get promoted when they come are unclassified government employees ... ie doctors and lawyers and some fields of medicine (you don't have to be a doctor). All line officers (ie those who are legally able to use the command) will participate as 2LT. This is 98% of the officer corps.
Military domination
No, just because you have a degree does not mean you will become an officer.
You must register with OCS, become a board member and be elected.
Different services have different needs and levels of choice.
IE: The Air Force selects only 15% of OTS candidates.
If elected, he will be promoted to lieutenant like everyone else.
Masters don't make sense.
When you enroll, depending on your services, you will be enrolled in E2 in the Navy, E3 in the AF and E4 in the Army.
It all depends on who your teacher is. Don't listen to people who say you can't get O2, you can. If you have the right master's degree and the right program. For example, if you have a master's degree in nursing or environmental health, or a medical degree, the Navy may employ you as an O2. If you go through OCS, you will not get it, you will only get O1. As far as the draft is concerned, E3 is the largest in the Navy, but it will help you earn promotion points for diplomas, up to a maximum of 4 for baccalaureate.

The rules are different for each channel, so you should check which channel you want to join. I know that some doctors can reach higher positions based on experience and expertise. Otherwise, your best bet is to leave the lieutenant when you are first assigned. An advanced degree will help you grow faster after joining.
The rest of the posters are correct. You will arrive as 2LT. You can check the paytable below. And you won't get rapid growth because CPL from 2LT is based on time, not performance. We apologize.
It depends on your nch, job, type of business, etc. They will be like 2LT or 1LT. Then, the SS is the border. Serving abroad in war zones will help you grow faster and build a career with more people. For example, you will grow faster as a military infantry than an army electrician.
It's not that easy. You will not be selected for commission because you have a degree. And if so ... it will be O1, unless you are a doctor, nurse, lawyer or pastor.
If recruited: Army will give you E4 (Expert) Marines E2 and Navy, CG and AF E3.
