Your SIM is not registered because you have allowed the activation to expire. You can try reactivating with a new SIM card and add an airtime card, but I don't think it will return the minutes you sent. If you lose your minutes, you only have 60 days to reactivate.

You may not need a new SIM card. My Trifon service shuts down and when I try to add service days I get a message that the SIM card is not registered. I called them and they fixed the problem in about 15 minutes.

Did you insert a different SIM card? With TracFone PIN, you can't insert another SIM card, even if it comes from another TracFone.

There may be minutes, but they are gone. Most cards have 60 days of airtime usage.

The only way I know is to call Trafone and ask for a new SIM card to replace the old one. This is the only way to re-register your old PIN. I tried it and they applied my 3,000 minutes with the new screw I just bought and I didn't like it and it took me more than 3 hours to get my minutes back with the screw but I just got on the new screw. Was able to get his grade. New ones that were really bad. Happy The big thing is, I'm going to go out and buy the same old model again so I don't have to deal with Tracfone and waste so much time and effort.
