Where Can I Legally Change My Oil
Can I legally change the oil on a city street unless I throw something? 3
I live in San, I go to a condominium and I hate to take my car and pay someone to change my oil and if I can do it myself in 10 minutes I might ruin it. I have condo rules and works on my car, but what about the city? Can I legally change my oil by driving on a nearby highway?
updateI just hung up the local police department and the duty officer said it was not about changing the oil or fixing my car. Obviously, hazardous waste / spreading laws apply, but that's about it.
Because of this, the previous agent I joined told me he didn't think it was good, but he couldn't dial the city code that showed it. So it looks like I've changed the light oil on the city streets. =)
I know some cities in Norcal have laws, but they never apply unless there are a lot of cars in Jose's garage and the neighbors are angry, but a quick, oil-free change of oil can be a problem. ۔
It all depends on local laws. Some have recipes and all sorts of work on their cars. Only do this in the parking lot where you buy oil and you don't have to worry about any regulations.
As long as it doesn't spread too much or you dispose of it incorrectly, you shouldn't have any problems.
Unless you have something in gr (gr oil s), I've emptied it down the drain. The material came out of the ground and I brought it back to it. Recycle in its purest form.
I think yes. I live in Santa Monica and do it regularly. Never had a problem, almost certainly cool.
